So sorry that this one has taken me so long to complete. Cons, car repairs, and other life related things got in the way. Lately I’ve been trying to push that “Painted” feel. I hope it’s coming across okay!
As for the piece itself, I wanted to do something more original and conceptual, something with more artistic merit than a more simple appeal. It’s sorta the direction we wanna take Faerie’s Dice in, artwork that appeals to the higher level of the senses, but still is distinctly “us” and what we enjoy doing. There are two versions of this piece, the top version is the version closer to what my commissioner asked for. The second version, is completely my own deviation, is is meant to be taken in far more of a serious light.
As for the second piece, if I were to give it a name, I would name it “Against Birth”
Again, I will straight up tell you, the second piece was made to be taken in a more serious and artistic light. I understand that many might not be able to fully appreciate it’s essence, and for those of you who feel the second is a bit too difficult to do so with, I hope you at least enjoy the first version.

Lately Antigone and I have been going full throttle on our commissions and really working hard. Our style has slowly been changing to a more painterly and Illustrative style, so each piece takes a bit more time to complete than when we first began Faerie’s Dice. The first piece up top is my own progress on a commission of Cyber End Dragon. Yes, do not worry, there is an armored version with a non rounded belly. With this one I really felt the urge to explore a conceptual and artsy design. I understand for many the depth I’m trying to convey will be lost, but either way I have enjoyed it’s creation so far.
The second piece is a commission of Elemental Hero Escuridao, being worked on by Antigone. I love the approach she is taking so far with the shape of the figure, as well as the armored bits. I can’t wait to see the facial expression, as well as the color pallet that she chooses.
We will keep you all updated~!

Worked really hard on this one. Out of the three, I think this one is my personal favorite. ^-^ For those of you who can’t tell, this cute little monster girl is a Fox/Elf. Normally this would seem like a fairly boring combination, but Antigone and I decided to spice it up as much as we could by adding our own unique little design elements~ I hope you like! Particularly, one of my favorite elements of this piece, is her size. I hope the artwork reads properly, but in case you couldn’t tell, Nyximi is supposed to be really really tiny! Like, the size of a decently sized plush doll! She is sorta an interesting cross between the celtic Faerie spirits, and the Japanese Shinto spirits. =x Yep. It’s probably surprising how deep Antigone and I get with our Erotica, but hey, we love what we do and take it seriously. Just because sex is involved doesn’t make it any less of serious or respectable of a piece of artwork for us. Would you giggle and laugh at a painting of a person eating a delicious meal? No? Well eating is just one carnal pleasure, So why should we giggle and laugh at yet another essential aspect of life, someone partaking in the carnal pleasure of sex? Dunno, food for thought. Either way I hope you all enjoy~
For my patient commissioners, thank you for waiting and being patient. These past three piece of artwork were essential to our success at our convention this next weekend. We deeply apologize for having to take time from our commissions to buff our portfolio. But Antigone and I are now getting back to work and going full throttle on our long commission list. Again, we aplogize for the delay that this has caused, and we seek to remedy this as soon as possible. For some of our customers who are waiting on their Deckboxes/Orica cards to be shipped, that will be done very soon, and once again we haven’t forgotten about you and are working hard to get it out to you as soon as possible.
Thank you everyone! And I hope you all have a nice day. =)
